A Space to Better Understand Each Other

Relationships can be one of our greatest sources of connection and one of our greatest sources of pain.

You may find yourselves having the same argument over and over, feeling misunderstood, walking on eggshells, or struggling to reconnect after hurt.

Couples therapy provides a space to slow down, understand the patterns shaping your relationship, and create new ways of communicating and connecting. Together, we'll work toward a relationship that feels more secure, supportive, and fulfilling.

When Relationships Feel Stuck

You may notice yourselves:

  • Having recurring arguments that never seem fully resolved

  • Feeling emotionally distant or disconnected

  • Struggling to communicate without conflict escalating

  • Feeling misunderstood, unseen, or unheard

  • Walking on eggshells around difficult topics

  • Navigating trust concerns or past hurts

  • Feeling lonely within the relationship

  • Facing stress related to life transitions or changing roles

While the challenges may look different from couple to couple, they often stem from deeper emotional needs that have gone unseen, unheard, or unmet.

Therapy can help you understand those patterns and create space for something different.

My Approach to Couples Therapy

My work with couples is primarily informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

Together, we'll identify the patterns that keep you stuck, understand the emotions driving those patterns, and learn new ways to communicate and connect.

Rather than determining who is right or wrong, our work focuses on helping both partners feel understood while strengthening the emotional bond between you.

Over time, couples often experience:

  • Greater emotional connection

  • More productive communication

  • Increased trust and understanding

  • Improved conflict resolution

  • A stronger sense of partnership and security

The Goal Isn't Perfection

Every relationship experiences conflict.

The goal is not to eliminate disagreements or become the perfect couple.

The goal is to create a relationship where both partners feel seen, valued, and supported, even during difficult moments.
